Darian Shipman

Darian Shipman, BCBA, is a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a robust background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and interdisciplinary care. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with an ABA concentration from Purdue University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) at George Washington University with a focused research interest in integrating trauma-informed care practices within ABA interventions.

With 6 years of experience working in settings such as interdisciplinary autism clinics, educational environments, and community-based services, Darian has developed expertise in individualized program development, caregiver training, and team collaboration to enhance client outcomes. Her professional interests include advancing ethical ABA practices, addressing systemic challenges in care delivery, and fostering a holistic approach to supporting neurodiverse individuals.

As part of her doctoral research, Darian aims to bridge the gap between ABA methodologies and trauma-informed care frameworks, emphasizing the importance of empathy, cultural competence, and safety in behavior intervention planning.
